9 Items from Revolve That Live Rent Free in my Head

Recently, I’ve been in a consumeristic mood, and I cannot get out of it. I have been endlessly scrolling online trying to find the perfect summer essentials for warmer weather, the beach, traveling, for any occasion really. One site I find particularly useful is Revolve, where you can literally find anything for any event! Although I do love a good old-fashioned shopping in-person day, there is something so exciting about waiting for a package, checking the shipping updates, and wondering when it will get to its final destination. So yeah, consumerism is at an all-time high, and most of us definitely don’t need that extra pair of shoes, but there’s no such thing as too many clothes… let’s be honest, when was the last time you felt like you had every item you’ve ever wanted? So in an attempt to lull you all into my recent Revolve addiction, here are 9 items from the site that live in my head rent-free (and it’s getting annoying). 

Jeans

A good pair of jeans is hard to find these days, especially one that will look good with anything, make you feel put-together, and give that wow factor when you walk down the streets. But! I have found the ultimate pair of baggy jeans with a touch of something-something to make all of your denim dreams come true! We’re also not going to ignore the fact that we’re trying to be sustainable, and so this pair is truly what we’ve been looking for. I love the string belt detail on the waist, it has never been easier to adjust a pair of jeans, and making it stylish at the same time is a win. Pair these jeans with literally anything; a little cropped baby tee, an oversized shirt, kitten heels, sneakers…you’ve got yourself an outfit! The versatility is uncanny. 

Skirt

There’s nothing I love more than a good long skirt that will work for the days when nothing else in my wardrobe is cooperating and I just need a statement piece to make all my basics work. One of my go-to summer outfits is a long skirt paired with either a baby tee or an oversized graphic tee, so you know we’re looking for that one skirt that will be able to work some magic and make you look amazing! However, we love being multifunctional, so we also need a skirt that will work as a cute beach cover-up, because why have one when you can have both? And so, Revolve saves the day (once again). Asta Resort is a small brand that can be found on Revolve, and although their clothes are simple, they absolutely make a statement. We love the specks of sequin on their garments and the red that just pops out, truly an amazing combination. 

T-Shirt

I think a simple T-shirt can go a long way in terms of styling. It’s the one piece of clothing that can be worn with anything and it has so many kinds of fits that it’s just the biggest staple of fashion times. I love a good tee that adds a little bit of spice to an outfit, and I feel like if you want to look like an off-duty model running errands on the streets of your city, you’re in luck. Not only is this tee the most gorgeous shade of black (yes, I understand, black is one color, but it does have shades!), but the orchids just add such a cute touch to it.  Also, this is classified as shapewear, and I know that’s not for everyone, but I do love a good shapewear moment. 

Sandals 

A good sandal equals a good summer. One that you can wear on a day out, to the beach, to run errands, go for brunch, you know, for literally every occasion. I find that there’s never going wrong with a good trusty pair of black sandals, and if you make it black, that’s even better! A classic black shoe goes a long way and can be paired with anything you wish. So chunky black sandals are my go-to for summer. I love the silhouette of chunky shoes and how they make heads turn on the streets, with compliments flowing from left to right. The ruffle detailing adds a little girly touch and you’ll be able to style these with skirts, shorts, linen pants, anything! 

Staple Bag

Summer instantly makes me want everything to be crocheted, just to feel a little more tropical in case I’m not on a beach holiday somewhere sipping on coconut water and feeling the sun on my skin. A crochet purse is simply a go-to for the warmer weather because you can incorporate it with your daily outfits and also your beachy fits. I love this one in particular because it has such a unique shape, definitely something you don’t see every day. Can we also take a moment to appreciate the colors and the embroidered pattern? Just too cute. It is also pretty big, so you can surely carry a whole day’s worth of essentials without feeling too bulky, so you’re comfortable and in style! 

Dress

Picture this; it’s a warm (but breezy) summer evening, and you’re getting ready to go for dinner at your favorite place. You’re going for a summery look and want to wear the perfect sundress that will make heads turn because you just look so damn great in this dress! Well, I got you. Although dark colors are sometimes associated with the winter months, I feel as though brown is truly a summer statement hue. I love how it contrasts with sun-kissed skin, and not only is the color amazing, but the fit of this dress is absolutely adorable. Peep the ribbon detailing on the back for a touch of coquette, and the silhouette looks so flattering for all body types! This one is not available for purchase yet, but rest assured that I will be pre-ordering sooner rather than later. 

Swimming Suit

One-piece swimsuits are back in style! A staple suit is bound to get you in the mood for a beach day or a lay-in by the pool, and with all the available styles and fits we have today (yay for inclusivity!) it is really difficult to pick a good suit that will tag along for the long summer ahead. This one specific black and white suit has caught our eye due to its simplicity, but that goes a long way! We love the crisscross back and how it’s open back at the same time. this suit can easily be paired with a classic pair of shorts and sandals and you’re ready to go! 

Cover Up

To go with the suit, you absolutely need a good cover-up that you can throw on and still look incredibly put together without the need to fuss too much. A little goes a long way, and this matching set is the one that we want; not only is it sustainable, but it can be worn together or separately, giving it a good functional base that will make you wear these wonderful pieces a few times! As I’ve mentioned, we love a good crochet moment, and this is exactly what we mean when we say; crochet all day! 

Statement Earrings

A good pair of statement earrings can make or break an outfit, and in our case, these definitely make it! Chunky jewelry has been coming in and going out of style for a while, but we love the way they look and how much of a nostalgic kick they give, truly a nod to the 80s, which are such a fun era in fashion. So, it really doesn’t matter if you’re a gold or silver girly (although we’ve got you all covered), because these are the earrings we’ve been thinking about day and night! they’ll elevate any basic outfit, give you an extra fun touch to anything you’re wearing, and just make you stand out in a crowd, There is nothing a good pair of earrings can’t do!
